COVID-19

How do you organize the Digitale Leute Summit concerning COVID-19?
We plan to create the typical Digitale Leute atmosphere – including an international lineup, hands-on workshops, a curious and authentic crowd, and entertainment in 2021. We are fully aware of the pandemic situation and will comply with all hygiene measures by North-Rhine Westphalia. The safety of our guests has the highest priority. This is why we embrace the highest hygiene measurements, even if they are not necessary anymore. In our location Palladium Cologne, we guarantee social distancing as we only use a fracture of the location’s maximum possible capacity. We offer disinfection and face masks for free.

If the pandemic situation against all projections worsens again, we will shift to a remote edition, as we did in 2020.

Contact registration
To ensure the traceability of contacts, all persons – exhibitors, visitors, organizers, and service providers – must register digitally in the DL Summit ticket store when entering the exhibition grounds. Surname, first name, and e-mail address, as well as address, are recorded. At the event, the tickets of the visitors are scanned and thus the period of stay is documented.

Admission of the entry
For the protection of all concerned, persons will only be admitted to events if they can show a complete vaccination or proof of recovery of COVID-19. 

General Security Measures
We have provided hand disinfection dispensers throughout the DL Summit site, both in the entrance and exit areas, as well as in and in front of the sanitary facilities. Furthermore, every attendant gets a hand sanitizer in their goodie bag. The cleaning frequency and disinfection of sanitary facilities, contact surfaces, and objects is increased during event operations. We regularly monitor the quality of cleaning. Our buildings have very efficient indoor air systems. They are operated with increased outside air volume. This enables a constant exchange of air in the exhibition halls. We train our employees on a regular basis. A risk assessment based on the SARS-CoV-2 occupational health and safety standards has been carried out for all of them and appropriate measures have been defined. Of course, we continuously monitor our measures.

Masks
Medical mouth-nose protection can be worn on the premises. 

Distance rule
Our events are designed in such a way that in principle a minimum distance of 1.5 meters can be maintained.

What happens with my ticket when the Digitale Leute Summit will be organized as Remote Edition?
In case we have to switch to a Remote Edition, all ticket buyers (including Workshops) will have the option to get a full refund.

 

Tickets

Do I get an invoice for my ticket?
Yes, Eventbrite automatically sends an invoice with your tickets and you can log into your Eventbrite account to download it anytime.

Can I buy tickets on account (per invoice)?
For single tickets, we do not offer this option. However, if you want to purchase more than 10 tickets for your company, we can arrange a purchase on account. In this case, please contact us via events@digitale-leute.de or via the contact form.

Does the ticket include catering?
Catering on Pre-Conference Day Full-Day Workshops: Light breakfast, lunch, soft drinks, and coffee included.
Catering on Conference Day: Breakfast, lunch, soft drinks, and coffee included.
The catering will be entirely vegan.

Do you offer ticket refunds?
If the Digitale Leute Summit takes place as a Remote Edition, all ticket buyers (including Workshops) will have the option to get a full refund. In all other cases, we do not offer ticket refunds.

Who is eligible to be a Volunteer at DL Summit?
Everyone who is willing to invest a few hours of work in exchange for a DL Summit Standard Ticket.

Do you offer discounts for students, startups, non-profits, etc?
The only discounts we offer are Super Early Bird, Early Bird and Team Package tickets. However, there is the possibility to become a Volunteer at DL Summit and get free access in exchange for a couple of hours of working on or before the event.

Can I change the name or other details on my ticket?
Yes, but only the person who purchased the ticket(s) can make these changes directly on Eventbrite. You are free to change your ticket details up to 2 days before Digitale Leute Summit – including name, title etc. Just log in to Eventbrite, make the changes and follow the instructions. Please make sure these details are correct as they will be shown on your badge!

How do I apply as a speaker for the DL Summit or nominate someone else?
There is no application process for becoming a speaker at DL Summit. We curate the agenda. However, if you have a suggestion, you might send us an email to events@digitale-leute.de

Where can I find the schedule for the DL Summit Pre-Conference Day and Conference Day?
Shortly before the Summit, you will find the complete schedule on our website and in our app “Talque”, where you can also register for the different sessions. We inform all ticket holders and invite them to the app when it’s available.
