This workshop is part of our Pre-Conference Workshop Day for the Digitale Leute Summit 2025 in Cologne.
This masterclass will equip aspiring and current technical leaders with the tools to lead high-performing teams. Through a mix of theory, discussion, and practical exercises, Patrick will guide you to understand what makes an effective technical leader – and how to act like one.
You will learn how to identify the most common challenges of leading technical teams and explore strategies to overcome them. Patrick Kua is a seasoned technology leader with almost 25 years of experience. His mission: accelerating the growth of technical leaders through coaching, mentoring, and training.
Patrick brings extensive hands-on experience as CTO and Chief Scientist at N26 and as a Technical Principal Consultant at ThoughtWorks. He has personally trained thousands of technical leaders and engineering managers across more than 100 companies.
