At FINN we rebuilt our tech organisation from the ground up for a world where building is fast and cheap. Small cross-functional teams that ship end to end. The role that changed the most was the PM. When execution stops being the bottleneck, the constraint moves upstream. Business sets the target, the PM owns the path. That means strategic prioritisation, commercial judgement, hypothesis definition and living in the data, instead of grooming backlogs and negotiating sprint capacity. I will speak about how we at FINN turned this into reality and what other organizations can learn from it.
VP Product at FINN.
Jens Kegelmann is Vice President of Product at FINN and joined the company as one of its first employees. Having lived through every stage of FINN’s journey, he embodies a hands-on, pragmatic growth mindset, one that’s about getting out of the building, talking to customers, and selling rather than theorizing. Jens brings this approach into his leadership today, helping teams focus on what really drives traction and scale.
