Finally, Good Requirements

„Garbage in, garbage out.“ You’ve heard it before – but what happens when your team only gets poor requirements? Vague terminology, shifting priorities, and an ever-growing backlog lead to technical decisions based on hidden or flawed assumptions – with potentially disastrous consequences for your system or product.
Instead of complaining about product owners and the business side, it’s time to take control. This talk empowers you and your development team with a structured, practical approach to getting better requirements.

Gernot will present streamlined requirements engineering methods tailored specifically for development teams, enabling effective communication and collaboration between business and technical stakeholders – drawing on the Twin Peaks and Three Amigos models. You will learn to combine proven techniques (scoping, context analysis, stakeholder identification, and functional and quality requirements) into a consistent, practical approach.
