Learn from an expert who has run A/B tests at both large and small companies. Barron can provide learnings on how to structure and run A/B tests at smaller organizations where you may not have a lot of traffic to validate concepts and also share insights from organizations where millions of users were on the product regularly, generating more opportunities for rapid testing and iteration. He can take you through the different ways you should think about these scenarios and help you think about the right level of A/B testing for your organization.

About your host
Barron is currently the product leader at Zenly. Zenly is a mobile app that shows you a live map of your friends and family. Founded in Paris in 2014, Zenly joined Snap in 2017, and continues to run as an independent entity with millions of loving active users around the world. Previously, he was a Director of Product at Booking.com, overseeing Ski and Beach segments for the business. Previously, he was the Chief Product Officer for Showmax, a Streaming Video on Demand Provider focused on South and Sub-Saharan Africa and now part of the Multichoice Group (Previously part of Naspers). In this role, Barron built and ran the product, design, and QA organizations for Showmax while growing the company to a variety of new markets, new customers, and new platforms. Prior to that, Barron was the Senior Director of Mobile and Growth for Naspers. Naspers (JSE: NPN) is a multinational global platform operator with principal operations in Internet services (focusing on e-commerce), pay-TV and print media, with assets spread across Eastern and Central Europe, China, Russia, Latin America, India, Southeast Asia, Africa and the Middle East. Prior to Naspers, Barron ran email marketing, personalization, and growth for One Kings Lane 2014-2015. While there, he re-platformed the entire email system which resulted in 50% more registrations within 3 months for a relatively mature business. This also increased email open and CTRs in a channel that had been declining previously andultimately generated 10s of millions in revenue growth for the business. Before that, he ran monetization, acquisition, and the mobile team at IMVU from 2009-2011. During that time, the business grew from 20-50mm annual revenue. He was also VP of product for a small startup called Rewarder (2012-2013), a marketplace connecting consumers with home, auto, travel, and technology questions with a network of experts who could help. He started his career in product at Intuit, a prominent tech company in Silicon Valley focused on small business accounting and tax preparation (INTU).

You will be invited to the virtual meeting room where you can interact with other attendees and the speaker. We will provide you with the necessary links and instructions via mail before the workshop starts.
Which tools do I need?
For this remote workshop we use Zoom. If you have never used Zoom before you will be prompted to install a browser plugin as soon as you click on the link we sent you. The installation is quick. But this is why we suggest joining the workshop a couple of minutes earlier.
